Bespoke dressing
The Process
The cornerstone of an elegant garment is realising the style that best suits the client's daily life and personality.
It is during this first approach that the client explains to us not only the reason for their visit but also the type of garment they want to see realised. The counselling work is fundamental at this stage because it is here that the cut, fabrics and finishes are defined according to the costumers desired performance.
01
Taking action
A garment is nothing more than a piece a of architecture with the added complexity that moves with a dynamic of its own.
So this is a particularly important step in understanding not only the dimensions, but above all the customer’s posture, because comfort depends to a large extent on its correct perception.
When taking measurements, the process we use gives the customer an initial idea of what the final piece will look like.
02
Fabrics
Bespoke dressing is a participatory act where the decision is part of the process.
That’s why we offer a wide and comprehensive range of fabrics where customers can find not only the colour and pattern they want, but also textures and weights to suit their needs.
The permanent presence of up-to-date collections from the best speciality houses guarantees the best options for the four seasons of the year for the most varied purposes.
03
Execution
One of suMisura’s strengths lies in the unrivalled group of partners with vast expertise in their fields that has brought together over the course of its more than two decades of existence.
Once all the information has been gathered, it will be sent to the dressmaking workshop that best meets the client’s demands for excellence in quality, where wise and experienced hands will use scissors, thread and needles, interlining and steam irons to carry out the alchemy that some call art.
04
Delivery
The creation and manufacture of a piece that is unique by its nature has its own timing.
Those who love bespoke clothing know that taking part in the creation of a unique and exclusive garment is worth the wait.
At suMisura we work to a deadline of between 3 and 4 weeks, depending on the demands of the woks. The final piece will be available to our client for a final test and examination to ensure that the expectations of the final work are met and, when possible, exceeded.
